Home Calendar

A private household calendar for one family's wall display.

Home Calendar is a small app that runs on a computer inside our home. It shows our family's Google calendars together on a touchscreen in the kitchen, along with birthdays and bill due dates, chores, a meal plan, the shopping list and the weather.

It is not a public service. Only members of our household sign in to it, and it is only reachable on our home network.

What it does with Google

When a family member connects their Google account, Home Calendar reads their calendars so the events can be shown on the wall, and adds, changes or deletes events when that person does so from the wall display. It doesn't use Google data for anything else.
