Home Calendar · Last updated November 7, 2026

Home Calendar is a private app that one household runs on its own computer to show the family's calendars on a wall display. This policy explains what it does with information from your Google account.

Who can use it

Only members of the household that runs it. The app is reachable only on that household's home network. It isn't offered to the public.

What we access

How we use it

We don't use your data for advertising, don't sell it, don't share it with anyone outside the household, and don't use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

Where it's stored

Everything stays on the household's own computer: the sign-in tokens Google issues, your calendar settings, and a short-lived cache of events. Nothing is sent to any other server. The only outside services the app talks to are Google, for your calendars, and Open-Meteo, for the local weather forecast. Open-Meteo receives only the household's approximate location, never any of your Google data.

Removing access

You can disconnect your account any time from the app's Settings screen, which deletes its stored tokens. You can also remove Home Calendar's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting never deletes anything from your Google Calendar.

Google API Services

Home Calendar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
